Ride Different 4
From 11-13 October 2019 The King’s Men (TKM) 4th Ride Different was held raising in excess of $60,000 in support of the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF). The Foundation supports research into creating a test for the early detection of ovarian cancer.
The event commenced with participants transiting via coach to Port Campbell and then riding on Saturday to Torquay. Leane Flynn an ovarian cancer patient and wife of Justin (TKM member) addressed the group during an inspirational speech and the impact that the event will have in trying to find a cure. Leane has dedicated herself to making a difference, to helping rid the world of ovarian cancer so that no other woman will die prematurely from this disease.
Sunday culminated with the ride from Torquay to South Melbourne via Queenscliff and Red Hill. Over 50 riders participated along with support staff completing the 360km journey . Acoustic Logic were proud to be involved in supporting the event with Director Matthew Shields representing ALC.
